Strating this months album off in style is this instrumental track from Norwich based two-piece, specialising in this progressive rock/metal/punk/ambient mastery.

2. “Back in Time” - Nee-Hi
Coming out of Ipswich is this extremely talented artist, using dirty synths, and clean hip-hop beats he manages to carve his own sound with awesome vocals layered on top. Old school!

3. “Midnight Remix” - Prestige
Awesome synth heavy drum and bass coming from our first South African artist to upload to Netdog!

4. “Rabbit Punch” - (((oh dear
Rabbit Punch is a melodious indie track hidden beneath an enigmatic layer of distortion. (((oh dear are from Woodbridge.

5. ”Employees” - The Interventions
Recently championed by Stu, one of the Maddog team in our online blog, this is a great London three-piece producing simple catchy pop-rock, refreshing!

6. “Smokey Joe (demo)“ - Hobomolobo
Hobomolobo are a happy psychedelic rock band from Suffolk, this track being a slight departure from thier normal sound, surf rock!

7. “The Roses” - The Electric Avenue Band
This is a great band coming from Edinburgh, with a soulfull rock sound. This track features nice vocal harmonies and a chilled out “poetic rock” feel.

8. “1850” - Icy Demons
All the way from Chicago, Icy Demons bring a superb element of the strange to this months Netdog album, with thier 80’s inspired, dayglo pop and indie rock.

9. “White Claudia” - Immercia
Powerfull progressive metal from the East of England, carving a path through the local metal scene.

10. “I Will Miss You” - Jatero
Nice chilled out Indie with hints of RnB and touching on a summer reggae vibe.

Well, the first ever Netdog album was downloaded by hundreds of you, and this month we’ve done even better! The pure quality of songs being uploaded is inspiring and here is the finest of the latest crop.

This month has a hint of the darker side of music, starting with some awesome Punk tracks, leading on to some dark Industrial, interspersed with a nice selection of upbeat and chilled Indie, and is this month called: SKULLDOGGERY.

1. “Deathknell” - Dungeons
Dark melodic hardcore based in Ipswich and Leeds. Touring the UK with The Process in August.

2. “The Party’s Over” - Umbrella Assassins
Some awesome dark garage punk comes out of Haverhill with wicked, psychobilly vocals and jagged riffage.

3. “15 Till I Die” - In This For Fun
A thrashy pop-punk 5 piece from Ipswich, ITFF are making waves on the underground punk scene, this track is a great anthem for a fun-loving generation.

4. “What Would your Mother Say?” - Rosalita
Ipswich’s best known recent export, tipped for great things with thier new-wave upbeat indie vibe. This is a single from 2008!

5. ”Rounding Up” - Maximum Danger Project
Amazing upbeat indie from this Leicester band, large acoustic arrangements which will make the highlight of any festival you find them at.

6. “Christina“ - The Boy Mandeville
This is a Live acoustic recording from an appearence on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire last year, boasting sweet vocal harmonies and acoustic masterery.

7. “Snowtrack” - Eurovision Rejects
Mixing dirty electronic basslines, synthy leads and dark Depeche Mode style vocals, this Birmingham based composer produces an epic sound.

8. “Ghetto Sheila” - A-Lex
Some juicy melody fronted Drum & Bass from this Ipswich based one-man composer.

9. “Pirate Dance” - Bass Piratez
If pirates were a bunch of stomping ravers this would be their theme music! Sounding like a progressed chiptune, shoving catchy melodies and thick basslines into your hungry ears.

10. “One” - Audea
Mentioned in the first Netdog article, Audea produces amazing electronica, this latest track being inspired by the Metallica song of the same name.

11. “Mninuty” - Hoboud
Finishing off our album this month is this beautifully dark polish folk band! All sung in an almost forgotten ancient Polish dialect.

You’ve heard the rumour on the street! Now here it is for your listening pleasure! The finest crop of the first months netdog tracks have been selected based on download totals and here they are, packaged up and ready to be slapped onto your ipod and buzzed into your brain!

Our first track is from this Ipswich based band featuring stormy, Blondie-esque vocals and great clean riffs.

2. “Boots & Cats” - Hair Traffic Control
One of our favourite tracks on Netdog so far, and a complete Netdog exclusive, fresh from the studio this week, from a great, upcoming Norwich three-piece.

3. “Turtle Joint” - Cosmic Sands
This is a cheeky, three-piece from Ipswich with a great upbeat charm, 70’s vibes and a perchant for the slightly unusual.

4. “A Hundred Times in Every Direction” - Vessels
Vessels are a 5-piece from Leeds, who initially began life in 2005, great chilled out Indie Rock.

5. ”Catholic Guilt” - Keyboard Rebel
Recorded as part of Keyboard Rebel’s 24-hour Album a Day project, a nice indie/blues track.

6. “Hit with Fever“ - The Looshkins
Described as “cherry trees inside your head” by this funky new band from Ipswich. Great early 90’s style dancy Indie.

7. “Never Say Never” - Beeba
A stompy bit of harmonious alternative pop from one-man Ipswich band Beeba.

8. “Wonky Ways” - Faith in Chaos
A fresh new dubstep tune from Ipswich, listen and wobble!

9. “Caravan” - Effterklang
Efterklang are a deliriously fun experimental band from Copenhagen, Caravan is haunting folk-electronica at it’s wierdest.

10. “Morning Dew” - Soffia
She’s Icelandic, doesn’t like tea and lives in England, is she misplaced? She likes ice tea, if that helps? Beautiful minimal acoustic track.

11. “Galloping Horses” - Kim Ho Ip
Possibly the world’s first recorded pairing of a Yangchin (a Chinese hammered Dulcimer) and a Soprano Saxophone, amazing!
